Could anybody help me out? Desperate for advice on what to do.

I took out Income protection and used Ant Ins, I Insured my salary which was £352 a week after tax and NIC were taken out. At the time I read that if I lost my job through, sickness, redundancy etc Ant would pay me 70% of my monthly Salary.

I lost my job in Oct 2008 the firm went bust giving two days notice. I put a claim in and after loads of stress and messing about I finnaly got a cheque for £700 and was asked to continue to send in two job applications each month for a paymentto be made.

I claim Income based Job seekers £62.50 a week, Plus I had mortgage protection covering my monthly payment, which incidentally the payment was taken in full to cover three years and is also being dealt with by Ant, it was originally taken with a company called Adminacle.

I paid £68.75 a month for 12 months for income protection. then after 12 months this jumped to £95.78 a month and I am still paying this monthly amount to Ant.

If anybody could help with knowing why I have been paid approx £56 a week salary instead of the assumed £286 I would be most grateful for any help or advice on where I now stand and what to say to this company who I feel as ripped me off. I have been with them just over two years.
