worked properly. he mentioned it several times to the shop. think they repaired but now hardly rings. is he covered under section 75 or something even though may no longer be under guarantee...? thanks in advance.

imo this should have been sorted out at the time.
It may be possible to get some redress now but considering how cheap a basic mobile phone is I'd say it probably isn't worth the effort.
If it was a posh mobile with lots of features maybe it is just a case of not understanding how to drive it.0 -

Have you checked if it is still under warranty with the manufacturer??.I know nokia and sonyericsson do 2 yr warranties on their phones.Others not sure? but might be worth a look in the warranty leaflet.0
