My parents are going away and need a good hotel near Heathrow airport that provide parking for their car whilst their away. Any suggestions?

Have a look at the Holiday Extras or APH sites. Tell them to check that the parking is at the hotel so that they do not have to move the car before they fly. Make sure also that the hotel is served by one of the buses or the hotel's own transport. The Renaissance has good parking though it is quite pricey and if you buy food there it is exorbitant.0

These don't seem to really give much information with regards to the parking and transfers i.e. whether they provide the shuttle. Any other ideas?0

Both of the Travelodges 2.5 miles from the airport say that they no longer have shuttle bus but taxis are available and to contact the lodge for more details. Worth a call?I haven't got one!0

Heathrow hotels are no longer allowed to have their own shuttle buses. The Heathrow hoppa calls at most of the major hotels and serves Terminals 1,2 and 3 (cost £5 each return). The car parks are allowed to serve all terminals with their own shuttle buses and these genrally are free.
Transfers to terminal 4 can be made by taking the Hoppa and then the tube this does involve some walking so a taxi is probably a better alternative.
If your parents are going from Terminal 4 the most convenient hotel to use is the Hilton which is pricey but is linked to the Terminal by a walkway.
If your parents are going from Terminals 1,2 or 3 The Crowne Plaza is good and is just off the M4 at J4, car parking when we have stayed there was on-site. The Radisson Edwardian is also good and is just on the airport perimeter on the Bath Road again car parking was on site. The Holiday Inn at J4 is also fine although access to their site is counter-intuitive (the hotel is on the south side of the motorway and you cant miss it but you have to go north and then cut back)and car parking was on site. All these are served by the hoppa. You will find all Heathrow hotels are cheaper Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights as their peak times are weekdays.
Hope this helps feel free to post the dates and I'll see what I can find.0 -
Thanks Monkeyspanner - help much appreciated.
They are going mid week I'm afraid so it'll cost them more and that's on Monday 20th March. Staying 1 night near heathrow and then flying on Tuesday (airport by 8 a.m.) to come back Thursday 5 p.m.
I've had a look and the prices seem to start at about £130
Thing is their break is a freebie - but it's turning out to be not such a freebie.
Dad did wonder whether it would be easier staying about 30 mins away (west on the M4) and then parking in one of the airport car parks, but this doesn't seem to work out any cheaper.

Thanks for that. This looked really good but mum's just told me that there will be a third person (
) who will need another room - Courtyard at the Marriott would cost him another £95 too!
Should I go with it?0 -

Best compromise I can find is http://www.holidayextras.co.uk
Thistle hotel 3* including 8 days parking at Purple Parking (secured compound) for £93. Hotel is on the Bath Road and airport is 2miles. They also had the Crowne Plaza 4*at £105 inc 8 days parking.
If you want parking on its own there is an NCP car park above the Concorde roundabout at the entrance to Heathrow and the prebook rate for 21st 06:00 to 23 at 18:00 is £27.75 including transfer to terminal. If you are interested in this goto http://www.ncp.co.uk
Your parents could combine this parking with the Travelodge at Heston M4 westbound services £56 http://www.travelodge.co.uk or the Ibis on Bath road for £40 from http://www.activehotels.com i'm not sure if either of these charge for overnight parking as your parents would need to drop their car at the car park the morning of their flight and then take the ncp courtesy bus to the airport.
You could also try ringing the hotels direct they may be able to do something better regarding rates.
Hope this helps.0
