    I shouldn't worry about getting rid of Ghost, you might use it some day.
    For a free backup solution you might want to give Second Backup a try, its free but takes a bit more work than a normal automatic back up.
  • i honestly dont like anything that Norton produces. I alaways find it hogs a lot of resources that it might not need.

    That used to be the case with Norton products up until 2008. NIS 2009 for me is currently using less than 5MB of memory.
