Have sent them an email but a reply could take a while.
If you have scanned them into your PC then they are digital! So - yes - you scan them in, save them on your PC and then upload them as per the site instructions.0 -

If they have been scanned into your PC then as long as they have been saved as JPEG files (the file names should end with .jpg) then they can be uploaded into your account for printing.
You can upload your scanned files by logging into your Photobox account and then clicking the "Add photos" icon at the top of the page. Follow the instructions on that page from there on.
Hope that helps.0 -

Once you have scanned origianl photos they become "digital images" (presumably JPEGS?) so can then be processed in same manner as digital images originating from a digital camera.
HOWEVER, you should ensure that you have scanned to a good size and quality, ideally at 250 or 300 pixels per inch that you want to print to.
Hence should be scanned to say 3,000 by 2,400 pixels for printing to 10 x 8. Also ensure you are happy with colour balance, contrast etc after scanning. AND also make sure you have cropped the image to match 10 x 8 ratio of height by breadth.
Also bear in mind that you cannot *increase* the quality on scanning and printing, hence if you had scanned a 5 x 4 inch image then printing it to 10 x 8 would only *magnify* any deficiences in the original.Money Saving Fan.0 -

Thanks for pointing this out. I guess for anyone registering as a new user it would be best if they just checked to see whether they've been given any free prints.0 -
