Has Confused.com gone belly-up?:embarasse I have been trying to log-on without success for 24 hours now. Does the fact that I'm in Spain somehow bar me from logging on, I don't have any trouble with other websites.

Website seems fine to me. Looks new, maybe they have just gone live with an update?0

Try accessing it through a website which will hide your proxy as some websites do not allow IP addresses from outside the UK to access their websites.
You could try https://www.hidemyass.com0 -
Still no joy, even using hidemyass. When I input my personal info, the website either won't accept my address in England, or accept that I accept their T &C's. I could use some very rude words here, but I think that this is a civilized site !!!0

No idea then, try one of the other aggregators?
These types of websites and many insurers will block overseas access for good reason. They get "robots" hitting them for quotes hundreds ot a time ensuring an increase in cost and that their quote information gets dirtied with false information.0 -
Yeah, good thinking, Dogbot, thanks for that.0

On second thoughts, I can still access MoneySupermarket, ComparetheMarket, GoCompare, OnlyInsurance without any probs, so why should Confused be the only one that doesn't want my business?? I'm moving back to the UK, and I need to set up Home & Car Insurance. Well, it's their loss, not mine (I hope)!!0

Ah well, at least you have access to some. It does seem odd that they have such a powerful barrier compared with the others, but I guess it is just the tech they are using.
If you can access all the others you should get the vast majority of the market anyway. Remember to try Driect Line and Norwich Union separatly since they are not on the aggs.
Good luck with your move!0
