I would leave it a couple of days (if you haven't done so already) for the seller to respond to your emails

This shows how some people do not read the entire listing to the letter. For £2 they should accept a postal order, but in future make sure he reads the listing properly because this is how some do chargebacks via paypal because they havn't read description in full and moan about it.

I only accept PayPal as this stops a lot of scams, I will, however accept cheque, postal order and bank transfer - as long as I'm paid fairly quickly I don't mind. I wouldn't suggest you leave it, I'd email again tomorrow or phone them to apologise and ask if they will accept other methods of payment.

I've done the same thing in the heat of the moment and all the sellers have been very reasonable.

Why don't you mail the seller and ask if you can send the cash through the post by recorded delivery?

For such a small amount it shouldn't be that much of a problem.

The seller may have a very good reason for accepting paypal only, so you can't force him to take a postal order. I certainly wouldn't risk just sending one without his express permission. Also, do not send cash recorded delivery as it isn't covered against loss, the only way to send cash in the post is to send it special delivery which is going to cost you about £3.65.

Wait until you hear back from the seller, if he inists on paypal only then you will have to find someone that will pay for you and receive the item for you as well.
