chopsticks - thankyou for that link.. we're liking Zanzibar and Barnyard :D

workimummy - thankyou, I hadn't looked on eBay. Added it to my watch list now :)

Our local independent baby shop sells the whole M&P range and honours all of their special offers. When we went on 28th April, they said they would let us have any of the May offers and if we go back at the end of May, they'll tell us what the June offers are and start offering them early. Hopefuly we can time it right for collecting our car seat.. ;)

i do surveys toluna and lightspeed ... although toluna have stopped doing sainsburys vouchers but do do love2shop vouchers but i save them for xmas (which ive already made a start on) lightspeed i was saving for my chair but now that looks like a no go :( ... i have savings i got my HIPG but that went straight to savings so when i go ML as i say i got £350 but im soooooo worried its not enough x

Have you also tried Valued Opinions? I also do ConsumerPulse and ShopandScan. Both of these are via TNS. I'm just trying to find a sign-up link for you. CP is good as you can generally get a £10 voucher each month. ShopandScan is easy - you just scan your food shopping before you put it away and get 1000 points (equivelent to £1) per week. They also have adhoc surveys every now and then which help boost your earnings.

I'll go and see if I can find any sign-up links for you hun.

Remember you'll be spending less money on "you" things when baby is here too - no petrol for getting to work, no work clothes etc.

    xxx

No problem. I haven't actually bought from them before, so have no idea what their service is like - it's just a site I've looked at previously.

I also really like Barnyard, although we have chosen to go with cream for our nursery.

Searching, are you elligible for council tax and housing benefit while you're on MA? I can't really offer anything more constructive apart from when I was pg with Aimee I lost my job and lived on income support of £43.25 a week for 6 months... I have no idea how I managed but I did... You just do hun xx

    SM - I found the link hun, it's http://www.volunteer4panels.com/.

It can sometimes take a while to get approved etc, so don't expect anything immediately, but might be worth a go?

Have you remembered that you'll be getting child benefit too?

Anyway.. I've been to pick up my pram tonight :D Have been having a play with it and will play more on the "how to fit it on the car with a baby and a weekly shop" front later on when it stops raining :) Saved £175 on new so can put that towards the cotbed we really want.
You don't need to worry about that coz you'd have the shopping in ur trolley :p;)

Has anyone seen any cot bedding or nursery ranges in bright colours or cream with a bright colour accent?

So far, I think our favourite is M&P Hodge Podge - http://www.mamasandpapas.co.uk/range/hodge-podge/2974/ - but it is rather pricey! :o

OH insisted there are definite colours in it.. nothing pale or washed-out looking.
Have u tried Ikea? they tend to be bright..
