Elastigirl - depends how good SIL is at keeping her gob shut. You may want to tell your mum anyway - depends how close you are and how upset she would be finding out from someone else.
I last saw MW at 9 weeks (booking in) and she told me to book again at 24 weeks (first week of June) but when I spoke to her about something else she said 'Actually come at 22 weeks'.
You will have 2 scans between that time - althou did she mention Triple Test? If so, you'll need to see her at 16 weeks unless hospital do it. I didn't have Triple Test so didn't go at 16w.
I'm crap with blood as well - had to go to hospital!
NMS - did u email Emma Jane? you might get one from thereA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Wohoo! Just had an email to test bras! although according to their measurements I am a 42B??!! I wear a 38DD normally - when mothercare, suggested I try a 42 it literally hung off me
. And I don't think I was ever a B cup (I remember having a C cup from the age of 13!) Oh well, I am always happy to get a free anything though!

Glam, just wanted to have my 2p's worth, ive got a couple of those little red spots, have done forever and theyve been raised since very early on and i noticed a small freckle on my leg that normally has a fair but long hair is very raised - so reckon the extra fluid does raise such things.
Anyone had any additions - to the right of the bridge of my nose and on my forehead i know have gained small red marks - i think theyre the type you can have gotten rid of - small capillieries(sp?)- have a round scar on my forehead and a new freckle by my hairline so bring on the concealer!!!- not that it works, lol:j
Baby born May 29th 09

I can't help thinking if the sizes are so weird how do they ever get anyone to buy them? If i tried on a bra in my usual size and then one or 2 either side and all were completely wrong I'd give up on that brand - surely most people are similar when ordering online etc esp?0

elasti - september??? are you sure? how many weeks will u be?
I'd say tell ur mum as per original plan, if ur sure you can trust SIL to keep quiet
yep i'm sure as she booked me the apt there and then and has written it all down its wed 16th of sept i will be 26 weeks:eek: It's a long time isn't it but the next apt is 12 wk scan at hosp, then 16 wk bloods at hosp then 20 wks scan at hosp then 26 wk back with midwife.
sil said she won't even tell my brother her hubby but we will see. I really wanted to wait and tell mum by giving her the scan picture. This is my signature!0 -

I have been getting a few more spots than normal on my nose actually.
My nose looks weird because all my freckles have come out in the sun and mingled so it looks like I have a brown nose with white freckles :rotfl:
Elasti - that actually seems about right then. There's not much the MW does in the first half of pregnancy - think it will be the second half where u see her more regularly.
I've rang GP but no appts  so just asked them to get my paper records out ready for MW appt next week so I can make a note of operation I had and see about Bf.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
