My day started off great, worked my last Saturday this year !!!!!

But got worse when I cam home and OH told me his credit card statement had come in and he is £294 over his credit limit. 1) why the hell did the CC company allow him to go that much over and 2) what the hell did he spend it all on ????
I spent over an hour this afternoon going through his statements with a fine tooth comb and it was all little trips to the shop for £10 here and £5 there - no big purchases at all !!

Needless to say I do not have £300 to bring him under his limit, so I have had to do a balance transfer of the extra onto my card to stop all of the fees.

    OK Rant Over !!!

    This was my post earlier

MM - why does he have a CC if he's not working? :naughty:
I agreed with OH that I don't use mine but I doubt I'd ever reach the limit coz its like £2500

Cant really blame him, we had got into the habit of him using the card for everything he needed and I paid it off at the end of the month. But when things got a bit tighter last year, I started making part payments to the card instead of all of it and slowly his balance increased. But I thought he would have told me he was close to the limit last month when his statement came in, but he apparently didnt notice it !!

He had the card from when he was working. All of his benefit gets paid into my account and I control all of the finances, (just not very well !!)

MM - if u pay the bills then u should open them ;)
anything thats a bill I can't/don't pay I give to hubby and then he moans about it for at least a week :p

Do you have a joint acc or anything? We have a joint that the WTC and CTC goes in and OH puts £50 a week in there If I can't afford something I'd have to ask him for the money but I usually wait and budget better when I get some more funds in
