Just thought I'd ask all you guys where I can buy a decent inflatable bed/matress. I have a trailer tent and I require 2 double inflatable beds to sit on top of the wooden bases in the bedrooms. I want a decent one as friends have bought really cheap ones and they now have leaks. Can you help?

Costco sell decent looking ones for about 30 quid, don't have one but have been eyeing them for some time as they look pretty substantial and not cheap.0

Hi I have just seen these on Ebay they look like decent quality.
And no it is not my auction nor do I have any connection with them.
Hope this helps.

I got one in Argos with a pump in it- it inflates really quickly and seems pretty tough. It comes in a duffle bag and is about £70- probably not the best value but adjustable once you are on it which is handy0

try these people
and this to go with it
If you have room, i would reccomend 2 singles rather than a double, we had a double and if one of you moves around a bit it is a lot more annoying than a regular mattress. So on the reccomendation of friends we bought 2 singles instead, much better, we keep them in place with a double fitted sheet over the top of the 2 singles.0 -
I really REALLY agree about having two singles. The double is like sleeping on a trampoline
As it's a trailer tent couldn't you have proper foam matresses? They're MUCH more comfortable than airbeds. Our trailer tent had foam matresses that folded into the base of the trailer, they were probably about 5" thick but very comfy.Just run, run and keep on running!0 -
If you want a really good one, my inlaws paid £160 (I know thats what i said)for a double, but having slept on that one and one for £20 there really is no comparison. (certainly not like a trampoline)
I cant remember the name but if you want to know i will find out.
But I would still go for the foam0 -
this is the one they sell in costco i think they are around £28 but not a 100% sure.

saw some cheap inflatable mattress in Halfords today...clearence camping stuff ( and some pink car accessories! lol) double was reduced to £5, they had a single one aswell, but didnt see a price tag on it so not sure of the price...dont know what there like to sleep on, but they were thick material make.
I bought an inflatable single mattress form Aldis a while ago, £5.49.was quite good for occassional use! Spuredr=ug used ot have them cheap aswell, but dont know if they still stock them.Tatts :hello: :kisses2:0 -
I got mine from Argos, it was about £35 for a double, and comes with a leccy inflator pump which inflates it really quickly, and also sucks all the air back out to deflate it just as fast... save all that pumping-up nonsense on the first day, and the squeezing the air out again on the last day.

I would be interested in foam matresses, but they would have to be no thicker than say 4", and they would have to be single bed size. Any Ideas?
Thanks for all your help so far.:coffee:0
