    afternoon all :D

Bookie - just wanted to echo what Maz says although I am now the worst for having a huge list in my head and knowing/feeling I have to achieve them all otherwise something terrible will happen or i'll get eaten by the big guilt monster.

The train offer is perfect timing. I still want to wait to see if my course is going to run though and I won't know that until around 24 May or so. It doesn't have the numbers yet, so I'm a bit stuck. If I book a mid morning train and it's delayed I could miss my class if it runs. If I book an early train (ie 8am) I could be travelling with a hangover and it will be a very early start from the hotel after the night's drinking and I'd be even more miffed if the course wasn't running!!

Had another free facial and pampering session. It gave me some time to think about myself for a change and I wasn't half as bothered about the taking my top off bit today.

    Hi BB
I'm trying to stop myself writing another list!
I think I need to eliminate certain parts of my life and the lists that go with that part. It's maybe time to put myself first for a while.
It was good that my friend in Atlanta was on-line at 3am to calm me down. :rotfl:

I'm exactly the same and have got worse as time has gone on. It all started with the carp I went through a few years ago and I ended up with just a little bit of 'life' which I regimented to the extreme just so I knew I could cope with the day. I think it's probably the one aspect of all that I still haven't put right. I organise timings to the extreme and plan and plan and plan, which I never used to do. I then feel guilty and stressed if I don't do something on the plan at the time it's supposed to be.

I think I try to cram too much in in an effort to prove that I can cope and that the world isn't winning.
At the end of the day I have a full time job and am trying to do both the male and female jobs associated with running a house and garden. That's before I start volunteering.
The arrival of little Samuel has made me realise how little spare time I have and I'm beginning to feel resentful.
My, I'm doing a lot of thinking today!

ladies - as a definite non planner i won't say i relate to what you're saying but i do agree that a bit of structure is a good thing... but cramming your life full of busy-ness and not giving over enough time for your own simple needs is a recipe for disaster....

since having erin i have had to become more structured time wise but i've not gone as far as to have a list... the only list in my life is the monthly post-it that has all my direct debits and bills to pay... a real MSE induced habit that keeps me on the straight and narrow...

i have a diary for appointments, but not a list...

i'm too selfish to put other peoples needs first more than my own... that's why i enjoy running cause only i benefit...

    Maybe *i* need a list!!!

BB - what is your siggy!??
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

I just want to be able to enjoy my life a little. To have some guilt free free time. At the moment every time I stop I feel guilty. My Brownie boss just keeps saying I shouldn't feel guilty and I know she is right but I still do. She has the talent to do it though!

The only part which doesn't HAVE to be done by ME is the volunteer role.
