zone alarm

sometimes when i try to open a link from a web page
i get the message that
you are not authorized to view this page
is it to do with a setting in zone alarm
any help would be welcome

it's nothing to do with ZoneAlarm; the fault lies with the website you are trying to view.

It may be a transient thing - try later, or if it's essential that you view the info, contact the webmaster for the site in question.

when i turn zone alarm off i can view some of them

I still don't think it's a Zonealarm problem per se.

How certain are you that your PC is free of Adware? Adware programs will often intercept your request for a webpage and redirect it through an ad site's proxy. This will often be refused access to a site with the 'you are not authorised to view...' message.

i have just got a few programes to scan for adware and such like will scan comp and see thanks

I have problems sometimes geeting my email on wanadoo broadband.
I rang the helpline, they said it was the fault of Zonealarm.
When I disable Zonealrm, email comes OK

By the way, it is not a good idea to disable Zonealarm if it is your only firewall. I have Norton running as well.
