A friend of mine currently has about 65000 pound to put in a savings account i looked at this ING account and i worked out if the interest is 2.75% he will get about 148 pound a month is this correct?
also he his protected by the dutch fsa which is up to 77000 pounds, so will his money be saf in this account?
He needs to use a instant savings account so he can withdraw at anytime, this one looks the best what do you people think and know about ING?

I would suggest Natwests e-ISA for £3600 of it, or £5100 of it if he's over age 50 before October. That account earns 3.25% tax free. Although you say he needs to dip in and out I'm kind of assuming that does not necessarily want to dip in and take it all out in one go?0 -
cheers mate, i thought that was the case, are they a good bank?0

ING are ok it seems. Natwest have had their moments recently, being part of Royal Bank of Scotland.0 -

Why would you join a LL association if you are not renting anything out to tenants?
Perhaps you got 'confused' and joined the wrong forums?0 -
