i get a "pc unable to communicate with printer message" - lexmark z2490
i installed belkin wireless which may be the cause of problem - printer is wireless , although at present it is connected by usb , the cable is in correectly and makes "the noise " when it is connected ,so i assume that cable and connection is ok- have done a system restore to b4 belkin was installed - no difference tho
any suggestions would be much appreciated

Download the latest drivers from the lexmark site for your printer and install them, Keep the printer plugged into the USB also, Once a wired connection has been established then we can concentrate on getting the wireless side to work
