Hi.
Can anyone please give me a rough guide of a reasonable price for an aerial extension to one bedroom and a conservatory from the outside aerial (old one). I am in the Yorkshire area.
Many thanks.

How long are the cable runs??
We paid £70 for a booster - from 1 - 4 tvs upstairs flat which included the splitter - 4 way external - booster - mains internal and reconnection of one outlet and inclusion of 1 other - in bedroom plus one spare for a retrofit to kitchen e.g.. Cable run was X 2 of about 30 feet each.
How we did it. Looked for aerial suppliers on Ebay search nearest first and then contacted them for advice or recommendations on local fitters.
Saved us over £40 on the other "cowboys" that came out.

Not sure how long the cable runs will be. I've had 2 'over the phone' quotes between £115 and £180 depending on whether I need a splitter or booster amplifier.
I've got someone coming to have a look in the morning who thinks it may cost £50-£70 per extension eg. conservatory, bedroom and lounge, using the original lounge aerial set up at present.
It all sounds abit expensive to me - was hoping to pay around £100 but don't have a clue how to do things myself.
Does anyone know if there are any options I can try by utilising old sky tv sockets I have throughout the house - I still have the dish but no box?
Thanks.0
