Refund Buyer?

Hi, I need to refund a buyer but do not want to put him through a 7-9 day wait for money to be transferred from my Bank Account. My PayPal account is in negative (about £5.33) and I was wondering, if I buy a low value item off eBay (99p), will it charge me £6.32 for the item + negative amount to bring my account to neutral or just the 99p for the item? Thanks

instead of using the refund option you could send them a payment so they wouldnt have to wait0
