What is the size of the flat roof?

I have found that finding a good quality roofer to do a good job working with lead isn't cheap. Probably sounds about right to me going by all my past quotes for roof work.

My roof is around 3m x 3m. Can't measure the flashing!!! It didn't sound too bad to me but I know nothing. I have another guy coming on Saturday who is a recommendation who apparently you can haggle with!

Sounds a pretty good price to me. I don't know that I'd trust a roofer who you can haggle with. I'd want a price for a job & know it's being done to a set standard, not the fear that corners may be cut because I'd knocked his price down accordingly.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

I would only say there are better systems out there now. Felt will need re-doing at regular levels.
You can put insulated panels on with various coatings to get 25-30 +years of life. £600 is OK for what you are getting, but you are getting a product not changed for 60-70 years or so????? Progess gooood!

PS: newer systems would be about the same prices.

Well the "haggler" didn't turn up....obviously not a big enough job for him.
