Joint tenancies/multiple occupancies

Options
Hi - thanks for reading. Essentially this is a question based around *how easy is it to evict someone who isn't paying their rent these days?*

I'm a tenant and I also happen to be searching for co-tenants in the house I live in. This means that the people who move in - I'm not going to know them at the start of the living arrangement, and therefore I don't want to sign a joint tenancy because if they start not paying the landlord then we are all equally liable - even if I've paid my share - that's the law.

I've raised these points with him but he seems to think if someone started doing that that it would be quite easy to evict them and get someone else. I'm not convinced - my family seem to think it is quite hard to evict someone on a contract that has stopped paying their rent - anyone got any ideas?

Thanks.

If e = 7 and p = r then what is z if q isn't 14 but only on a Wednesday afternoon if I haven't thrown trifle at the oven in the last 8 minutes?
