Will the Post Office re deliver after

The buyer paid, waited patiently, I refunded and was about to fill in a compensation thingy but recieved the parcel back. She still wants it, but it says on it that it wasn't picked up from the PO.

She is a really lovely lady with positive feedback and I don't think she is lying when she says the PO are talking carp? However, the parcel cost me £5 to post (bundle) so I am already down £5, I have asked her if she would consider repaying but I wanted to check here first on the PO question?

if it says not collected you will have to repay the postage. a card would have been left for the item. if a card wasn't left then she would need to call and complain. they wont refund the postage as a rule.

I'm not quite sure why you are £5 down as surely the buyer paid for the postage? I dont think the post office will let you post it again without re-paying but if the buyer didnt get a card then its a difficult situation. Why not ask at your local Post Office to see what they suggest.

Offer to post it back to her, but she pays- you did post it already, you can confirm this with her by just covering the old parcel or envelope in a brown paper covering, so when she opens it she will be able to see the same writing as you can now which shows it was delivered to her but not collected. If she has any issues with that, its really not your fault. You could chase the PO but it would be on her behalf as it would need her to complain, not you. Its her they failed, not so much you.
