hello need some advise

we want to hopefully be given the opportunity to buy our own home.However with 2 children and renting privately we havent saved a deposit. My partner works for our council so is a Key worker. DO any of the part buy part rent or mortgage loans schemes apply to us even though we have no savings etc?????

    Which area are you in? and have you tried applying at your local Housing Association?

    Not all people who work for the council are keyworkers but also not all schemes require you to be a keyworker.

    Two that I am familiar with and I advise you to look into are MyChoice Homebuy and Ownhome (run by co-op). These schemes lend you a percentage of the property value which you can use as a deposit. You must however have at least £4000 in savings to cover costs, which of course you would have with any house purchase, such as a solicitor and stamp duty.
