Paid both Vanquis and CapitalOne off today, and a chunk of Aqua off. Only have £170 left on Aqua and then I owe nothing on credit cards. Paying rest of Aqua off on 23rd July.

Not yet. The credit agreement is still sitting on my desk waiting to be sent off. I'm still contemplating whether to send it. After spending 1 month wracking up £600 on credit cards, and spending 5 months paying them back, I've realized I don't want nor need the lure of a credit card with a large limit.

I'm happy with my CapOne £100 limit. :D

I also paid £60 to my mums littlewoods account which I owe £270 left on (I brought a £800 laptop a year ago). Hoping by the end of August, everything will be paid off and all my money I get paid will be mine and not paid out on debt. :)

A little story to lighten the mood - completely unrelated to credit cards but hey!

Last weekend, I was at a music festival and I was somewhat intoxicated. Had to use the bathroom and there was those portaloo things. So while I was in there, I looked around for a sink to wash my hands and noticed a small bowl attached to the wall. Couldn't see any taps so I stupidily thought the water would come down automatically once you insert your hands.

So I'm standing there with my hands in this bowl, waiting for the water and it just didn't seem to work. I couldn't figure out how to wash my hands. Anyway, I spoke to a friend to ask how these portaloos work - told them I was inserting my hands into the bowl and such.

My friend said.. "You do realise that was the urinal you were trying to wash your hands in?..."

    I was mortified!

:rotfl::rotfl: That's funny Elky. Of course such a thing would never happen to me as i never drink :A ;)

Yeah, i've been working. No rest for the wicked!. I used to be with Barcalys but the lousy rotters wouldn't upgrade my current account, so i dropped them for the Halifax.

Hope you have a better time with them
