Well done Seeya!!
So you'll have a Visa debit Connect card now then, I wonder if they'll issue you with a cheque gurantee card.
Are those CCJ showing on both your credit files?
How old are they now? I keep forgetting.0 -
Hi all,
After months of not being able to get a credit card I finally got a Jacamo account with a £125 limit. What is the best way to use this account to get a credit increase?
I was thinking of buying something for £20 and paying it off in installments. Is this the best way or should I buy something on credit then pay it off a few days later?
Any help would be appreciated as I am starting to improve my credit score!
Thanks
Basically what you suggested is the best way to get a limit increase. I have had mine since October. I have a £1000 limit, it started at £125 too.0 -

ive got a capital one credit card with £200 limit- trying to improve my credit score, ive had it for about 5 months.
ive been using it once per month on say £30 fuel and repay it back all as soon as i get the letter through in the post.
Is this the right procedure for increasing my credit score? or do i need to just pay the minimum amount for that month?
any advice?
thanks0 -
keep doing the same maybe look at getting a Vanquis card or auqa card
and always pay in full0 -
A little story to lighten the mood - completely unrelated to credit cards but hey!
Last weekend, I was at a music festival and I was somewhat intoxicated. Had to use the bathroom and there was those portaloo things. So while I was in there, I looked around for a sink to wash my hands and noticed a small bowl attached to the wall. Couldn't see any taps so I stupidily thought the water would come down automatically once you insert your hands.
So I'm standing there with my hands in this bowl, waiting for the water and it just didn't seem to work. I couldn't figure out how to wash my hands. Anyway, I spoke to a friend to ask how these portaloos work - told them I was inserting my hands into the bowl and such.
My friend said.. "You do realise that was the urinal you were trying to wash your hands in?..."

Is there any set formula in which they up their limits?
I've had my account for 2 months now, I had £125 to begin with, and then it went to £200, my next statement is due shortly and I've been making my payments on time and not passed my credit limit.
Does any one Should I expect another increase?0 -
yes it will go up to £300 at your next statement date0
