So I tried getting put onto the voters roll and my local council said they cannot register me because it is past the cut-off date for the June elections.
I don't give two hoots about the June elections, I just wanted to register. I was under the impression you can register when it suits.
I think there is some sort of rule regarding registering during campaign periods.
I sent off the forms a few days ago, so i may get the same response you did.
I'm slightly worried I'll be inundated with DCAs from my "bad old days" if I get on the register though. Does this happen, or is having access to the CRAs enough for the DCAs? I notice one DCA checked my EQ a couple of years back for an "unpaid debt".Halifax Ultimate Reward - £500 OD limit

My first order from Jacamo(with 15% off thanks to myvouchercodes) arrived this morning, a cool pair of skate-trainers.
Still not heard from Vanquis and they still haven't done a search on me.Halifax Ultimate Reward - £500 OD limit

Yeah, just this week i had to call my council about the electoral register and there are cut off points throughout the year. I also checked the info on the council website. They update roughly 2-6 weeks after receiving your form.0 -

When did you apply for Vanquis? Online or by post?
Reading various other posts it would appear that there is quite a backlog of applications so could take 4 weeks or so.
Mine took 3 weeks exactly.
Good luck with it and keep us all updated :TNatwest gold..Limit £1750 bal £970..Vanquis Limit £3000 bal £0..Littlewoods..Limit £1200 bal 0..Additions direct..Limit £4900 bal £1356..Empire Limit £6200 bal £152..Jd williams..Limit £1100 bal £130..Simplybe..Limit £1500 bal 265,,Fashion world..Limit £1400 bal £145 Jacamo..Limit£125 bal 0

I can't apply for a BarclayCard until July 21st now, as I applied back in April and was declined. Also applied in January and was declined, appealed and still said no. Is it worst appealing the second decline and send in bank statements etc?
Barclays haven't searched experian for the bank account i applied for on Monday yet. Going to check Equifax now.
Edit - Barclays did an 'Authentication' check on Equifax. No full search.0
