I have only 3 searches in last 3 months, in the last year i have been turned down by lloyds and hsbc, but i had a Notice of correction on at the time, now that has gone is there anyone else worth trying?
Dont need a chequebook, would prefer full visa rather than another electron, overdraft not really required but would be a bonus,

maybe try to step up from cap one to a lower interest rate card in the next couple of months, any suggestions

When did you apply?

applied for lloyds about and hsbc about 3 months back, declined on both, had the cap one card 10 months now and credit limit raised from 250 to 500

On Experian, Credit Expert they are offering to link you to cards etc that based on your credit report you should be accepted for.
I did mine earlier, and based on report, plus income and bank details I expected something half decent.
It came back with 3 pre-paid cards and a choice of Vanquis which I have or Capital one.
Not a mainstream in sight yet all of my accounts are in very good order and no searches from lenders on there in last 6 months :mad:

How mad, I got declined capital one but accepted for HSBC O/D
