In a bit of a mess with my ISA(s)!

Options
I wonder if anyone can help me as Natwest are being completely rubbish and every time I ring they tell me something different!

Basically, I have a Natwest Cash ISA and I saw the E-ISA advertised on the Natwest website which has a considerably better rate. I have applied for (and now got) an E-ISA with Natwest (as well as my cash ISA). Basically, I want to ditch the old cash ISA and put my money in the E-ISA. Some people at Natwest are saying this is possible and others are saying not, but nobody seems to really know for sure. The lady on the phone (after speaking to her supervisor) informed me it was possible and if I just completed the form and handed it in it would transfer fine. The staff member in my branch did not agree and told me it wasn't possible to transfer within Natwest - I would have to transfer it to another bank and then back in again!

Either way, what do I do and which ISA am I allowed to use and which can I not? I am very confused and nobody I speak to at Natwest tells me the same thing as the previous person I spoke to (most of them just insist on transfering me to a different department!)

If anyone can help me, I would be so grateful!
