combining postage

A buyer bought some kids clothes from me and i posted monday.
Ive just gone to sort out the postage just now and noticed that the same buyer has won an auction this morning and placed the bid this morning and theyve paid up,
I always combined postage were i can, Do i just send the item out as it is or send them a £1 refund through paypal using the gift bit??
I'm all ways having malteser moments thats me :doh:

    They have paid as two separate transactions, so you should send as two separate transactions. The fees are higher for you reciveing two lots of money anyway.

    Otherwise, you'd need to refund the first payment, resend a combined invoice and wait for a combined payment.
