15% to reclaim bank charges

I got a phone call this morning from somone saying they can help me reclaim back my bank charges. I am a bit deaf and could not hear properly. It was a woman saying I had giving them my phone number on line (I may have). She was talking a lot but I could not hear what she was saying. She said she would send someone out tomorrow to talk to me. From what I gather she was saying if you got a loan before 2007 you may not have to pay it back. It had something to do with the wording? I asked how much it would cost for them to apply for the bank charges. She said 15%. I thought that was very good because most people want 20% 25%.
I will have a man here with me tomorrow when the man comes.
Has anyone else had a call like this?

That has nothing to do with bank charges. It has to do with unenforceable contracts. A minority of loans from before 2007 may have mistakes which can make them unenforceable. That doesnt mean you dont have to pay them back. It means that if you stop paying, they cannot come after you for the money. However, it kills your credit rating and will prevent you getting credit again.

You are talking bank charges but she is talking credit agreements.

Yes. They mostly talk a load of BS and will tell you anything that will get you to sign up and pay them money. You are better doing some research for yourself before throwing money at companies that tell you that you are able to claim without even knowing what you have.
