BB it is tomorrow then :D

    I don't need any dishwasher tablets as I don't have a dishwasher(yet!) ;)

oh, and where is the closest homeplus store to us? staines? I want a breadmaker :o

Staines is poor. Although I did pick up a Sony iDock today (same as Nikkilala) :) and a Canon Printer for £10 but minus the inks :(

No breadmakers tho or cameras. In fact they had a TomTom XL and a Coolpix camera with reduced stickers in the plastic boxes. BOTH of them went through at the BEFORE price but as SA was scanning them no chance of DTD (and not worth it anyway).

I did see a large basket of Babyliss things by Customer Service which I guess had been removed.

Might pop to Sunbury myself tomorrow so hide something for me :)
  • Ok, off to bed and roll on tomorrow :D sad but I'm very excited about a whole day riding Tescos :o

OH just happens to be on his way to T's ;)so is going to check it out. Have been looking for a new laptop for ages and just waiting for a deal or glitch, fingers crossed that I could be so lucky!! Got my HP mini on a fab glitch so just need to replace my work one with this.

Went over to B&r H1ll as soon as I saw this and before others got out from work! :D None on display although saw a similar one for £479. Asked a girl on electrical desk if there were any in stock. Girl went to check and came back with a box in her hand and showed me the C660-1LD label. Said yes, that's the one and asked how much? She said £179 in a slightly surprised voice! I asked how many they had? She said 5 or 6 I think, so I said could I have another one please? When she came back she said to me that she'd put one aside for herself as her lappy was faulty! I laughed and told her It was her lucky day serving me! The others were sold in minutes, once they knew unfortunately, but it shows that they are about!
    It's £399 on Tesco Direct.

See my other post further down for the glitch on Duracell batteries! :rotfl:

i love this thread because its out the way, so let the other one die. as it allerts tesco to the glitches. ive read other threads and from reports tesco do follow the grab it board. and to my surprise we are getting a lot of new followers even though we are now not the main thread. long live thread 11 lets show all we are here to stay. even though we were relegated to gone and NOT forgotten. but i prefere it here.
sorry all i've had a few beers but had to let of steem :A

    I explain this one carefully!
Was in my local store this afternoon and saw the offer had finished (but I have a feeling it does continue) on the Tesco Alkaline batteries that were mentioned earlier in the week. They were £3.60 for an 8 pack B1G2F. Good price whether the glitch worked or not!

    Anyway:
I noticed that the Duracell ULTRA POWER AA batteries had a label £4.47 with B1G1F offer. On closer inspection it stated £1.12 each which aroused my suspicions to an error! £1.12 must mean per pack me thinks as it cannot be per battery! Tried four packs and two offers kick in. B1G1F followed by B1GCF (Buy 1 Get Cheapest Free) which reduced total down to £4.47 for 4 packs!

    Here's a complication:
There are packs which look exactly the same with 2 different barcodes.
First is 5 000394 002562 these are the £4.47 ones.
second is 5 000394 004016 these are the £4.50 ones.

At the B&r H1ll Tesco this glitch did not work on either barcode but back at my local store it works on both barcodes. Better to buy the £4.47 ones but quite honestly who cares about 3p when you get 16 batteries!

Good luck in your store as who knows whether it'll work!
Not tried the AAA size yet but they are in the same offer but a little cheaper which is why they have the B1GCF offer.

It's getting long and you all know how I like to keep things short, on topic and to the point! Remembering the label has £1.12 each on it may be the trigger of whether it works in your store or not! Cannot remember if it had that in the store where it didn't work. If however it does say £1.12 each and it doesn't work you may be able to press for DTD or at least honouring the £1.12 each.

Phew, hope that explains it fully and helps stock up on "top quality" batteries for Chrimbo! Battery use by 2018. :)
