Tesco misprices and discussion thread 11

Greetings people!

I am new to this forum, so erm.... 'Hello.'

Question, while all of you go glitch hunting, do any of you use the bar scanners on mobile phones, with Tesco's own app to price check?

Most of my Tescos locally do not have price check machines, does the App allow you to do online price checks and find out of the shelf prices etc are wrong? I would assume the website prices match barcodes etc, so would assume online prices linked to store prices?

If your lucky enough to get s signal in Tesco I never can its only food items that match

The problem with using a barcode scanner app is that it will check tescos main database, ie direct.tesco.com whereas we have all seen from these forums that offers can be only in extras, only in normals, only in metro, a combination, or even store specific

Nothing beats getting it done in store but if the is no in store scanner to check the price (and how many times do we see that "see staff" message on the screen) then you will have to take a gamble and go through the checkouts to see if it works (oh, left my wallet in the car!) Or risk asking a cashier for a price check. Remember that 3 for 2, BOGOF and the like won't show on a store scanner anyway.

It did work, but it was an out of fate sell. I managed to get the set for 150 whilst sel still showed 69.99 so 160 back and a set of phones

Morning every one,
Forgot to post last night, I bought some reduced sausauges and they had the 3 for 2 stickers on and the 3 for 2 kicked in even though they were reduced. I know it does work, but it hardly ever does for me, so £9 worth of sausaged for £1.60:)

i am all done present wise, most of it is wrapped, just the food to sort out
