I'm just wondering about peoples experiences of multibuys on reduced items. It seems some take of the original offer amount, but some compensate for whoopsied items. I've had:
3 for £10 chicken breasts (£3.99 each) reduced to 40p each, the £2 still kicked in.
2 for £3 quiches, one was reduced to £1.59 from £1.89 but multibuy took of what what needed to still make it 2 for £3
The Tapas stuff I know still takes off the original amount.
Has anyone else noticed their mulitbuys netting out on whoopsied items?:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -

I did my shopping picking up some black striped glasses at the same time and then went to customer service and said to them about the glasses - my 4 for £3 didn't kick in!! and also i had a £3 off £20 till split from sainsburys which i had forgotten to use - she looked at my receipt and no wonder why,( and the till split i wanted to use was a day out of date so that was no good either) the cashier had only put two through not four so i had to pay them an extra 50p !!! and then i said to her about the shreddies being over charged i said i had them in the car and could i bring them in she said no problem if we have over charged you i will give you DTD, i went and got them from the car and showed her - WRONG AGAIN - i had only picked up the WRONG ones!! very similar - one is honeynut and the other is honey!! i had the wrong ones, i must admit i did laugh about it and she said she would give me 10 out of 10 for trying!! but i have upped myself now in the recognition stakes so am going to have to lay low for quite a while now, she did say i will look out for you in future - Ahhhhhh !!!!
Thanks, have just checked the box and :eek::eek: they are the WRONG ones . They were above the correct lable. I saw honey and not the nut as I checked the lable and rushed to the till. I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer for my first DTD But hey theres always coupons and the thrill of the chase :rotfl:
Gave 1 box away and I'll take the other 5 back for a refund.0 -

Yes, if any of your whoopsied items are on bogof, always buy 2 as the bogof will still kick in

what a fool i made of myself today. i saw a fella with 2 mega blocks truck things in his basket and some maryland cookies. :j
i asked if he was a freind of martins?
he said martin who?
i said martin lewis!
he said oh i dont live here i live in peacehaven, then gave me a life story about himself and wondered if a fella had changed his name as "it was martin lanes when i knew him"
sometimes i should keep my big gob shut.
p.s i shouldve nicked the mega blocks out of his trolley as well!!:rotfl:life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -

I have'nt been in my local Waitrose since March when DTD started;) Went on a proper girlie shopping trip today and had lunch out in the sunshine so felt "normal" for a few hours with no thoughts of T's:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: BUT before I went shopping realised I was in the vicinity of a new to me T's. So in we all trot, it was laden with finest crackers, cereal, soup, go ahead bars and choc/mint bars and out we all trotted fully laden. The glitches were all at full price on the SEL and all went through at the reduced prices:T:T:T It was in Wa**ord which I thought was some ones local but obviously not as it was chocca with goodies:T
They also had some childrens long majorette stick things that rattled when you used them and they went through at 20p!
Also went into Clinton cards and all their Boofle stuff was 1/2 price but their was a label that said 3 for 2, so I asked if it still applied and they said yes!!! So got loads of bits for Xmas pressies.Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0
