I tried once and got nowhere - not even a reply. Took the items back as it wasn't a DTD. Good luck if you do and let us know how you get on
  • I challenged a price check, got a phone call and got 200 clubcard points, the difference was £1. Can't remember what it was for at the moment, but it was identical on both sites.

It was about a week before I got a call back but when they did they were quick to solve the problem, offer comp and to confirm they still do DTD

I haven't had a reply about my issue either , getting paranoid now in my old age, maybe they're collecting evidence about my exploits in my local T's establishments or maybe they're busy fixing the jelly glitch...... Or maybe they're out buying jelly and custard!

    Xmas Saver!
Can someone tell me if I am correct with this thinking.

When you buy an item from Tesco and use a coupon for that item, the reduction is shown as a voucher at the bottom of the receipt.

So if I was to get a coupon for lets say Lego (cos there is one in the lego magazine that has come through the door), and I bought the specific lego along with some other shopping and then used my coupon for a £2 discount on that lego, if I then returned the Lego to Tesco saying it was unwanted, they would then refund the full price of the item back to me, which would leave the £2 coupon as a discount on everything else I have bought.

So whilst I know some SA will take any voucher you have and are not bothered, I just thought this is a cheeky way to play the system if they only accept coupons for what you have actually bought.

Am I correct or is there something in my cunning plan that will go awry?

    Lol sounds about right.

Was thinking of just ringing Customer Service and trying to start again from there.. What do you reckon, wait or phone? :)
