  • Is anyone else a bit "Tesco'd out" at the moment, I think I need a rest;) or maybe it would be good if Sainsburys could have a glitch, just for a change of scenery:rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Me! Mind you, if it weren't for the Asda DTD and this DTD I'd be skint and bored. With no OH complaining about me checking my laptop I can keep fairly up to date with glitches and bargains. I'm now in a position that when I have to leave this house (it could literally be me getting kicked out with little notice) I have almost everything I could possibly need from kids toys (fully stocked for Xmas, birthdays and next summer), kids & adults clothes, crockery, glasses, mugs, pans, Pyrex, toiletries, cleaning products, gardening stuff, cereals, Heinz meals, jelly & custard, beer, wine and everything I need for weaning DS!

The only things I need now are decent phones (still debating trying to return these DTD phones), an ironing board, cutlery (missed out on the cheap set), a big TV, bed, sofas, oh and a house!

I was going to venture out this evening but the store that carries all the nice household stuff is also the one with a scanner for price checking tomorrow so didn't want to be in 2 days in a row. Will try and get down nice and early tomorrow and see what they have but I fear it will be a disappointing journey as the Extra will be the store with the biggest selection and it's a good 25 mins away.

I bought the BBQ chicken pasta cheesy garlic bread and the toffee apple crunch crumble. They didnt say what was not scanning sorry. HTH.

I had a look online before I went to Tescos - did you get the cheesy baguettes? There are some cheese and garlic slices which are part of the deal or 2 garlic baguettes but the 2 cheesy baguettes are not in the deal.

Staff are always getting the stock wrong in these cabinets. I got a free dinner tonight (not for the first time!) because they had put a whole stack of puddings in the cabinet which weren't in the deal - won't say what as it will be store specific but it's always worth looking online at what is included before you set off, even if only because there will be other things in the deal that you may prefer to what is in the cabinet ;)

Managed to get DTD on 3 Panasonic KX-TG7323 triple phone sets today. OOD sel £64.99 went through at £129.99 so £390 back & free phones Kerching!
CS girl was great I went with her to check sel she also ok'd with manager no probs. She explained to me how I'd get DTD & apologised for the mistake. She also forgot to take my clubcard points off so thats a bonus but I forgot to use my £5 off £50 voucher but hey-ho!

Sooo pleased as always jealous of Nikilalas super finds. Good to see Stebiz love his humour miss the old DTD days.

Don't forget that most of the half-price wine offers finish today. Promotional aisle being set up in my local - looks like another Wine Promotion from tomorrow...

The only ones I can see that are still running at half price are:

Banrock Station Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz
    Blaxland Estate Shiraz
    Antano Rioja Gran Seleccion
    Berberana Rioja Reserva
    Banrock Station Reserve Chardonnay Verdelho
    Blaxland Estate Chardonnay

Anything else on a half price OOD SEL should be worth a go!

The 2 for £10 promotion has now finished but beware if you find any OOD SELs as many of them have now been reduced making only pennies as a DTD (and I'm sure you all still have plenty left from the last wine glitch anyway ;))

My local T's never has this meal deal advertised and I can't say that I've noticed it in the Extra a bit further away either.

so i went back to T's again with sis and neice to get a few more vases and found in the same aisle a whole shelf full of bathmats and towels, ther were no barcoded sel's at all but 3 round £1 signs at right angles, it made it look as if the whole display was £1 each

i suspected there was no way they were a £1 but after the silly prices i paid for the vases i wasn't so sure

unfortunately the bath sheets scanned at £9 and mats £4.50 we got 3 bath mats and towels each

we spoke to the duty manager after and showed him the signs, he said as they weren't specific for those items all he could do was refund us

i know you're all going to say without barcoded sel's it's difficult to make a case but the display did genuinely look as if they were on in the summer sale at £1 each

ps i took a photo before i called the manager, when we got back mysteriously only 2 £1 signs left!! Any thoughts on if I write to CS how I explain having a photo

    Thanks

Ps Don't think my sis or neice were impressed and will NOT be going shopping again with me in a long time lol!

In the extra the meal deal is usually on an end, just round from the whoopsies, opposite the checkouts.

OMG what's going on??? Tesco invasion on the grabbit board?! how the hell am I supposed to catch up with that?!

Two days of a huge hangover for me and no visits at mr T :o And I come back to this chaos...

Missed out on the 04/09 ood sels on Monday(not that I haven't got enough phones...)

And I just don't have the energy to hunt the clearance bargains especially three days before my holidays...

Oh well, judging by what's going on now I can expect a pretty busy time when I return home... :D

I hope everyone gets tons of great bargains and glitches! :)
