my first ever wombled receipt for £6.50 (not much I know) but every little helps!!

I wombled a receipt a while back with only 2 items on it. Turned out one of the items was £4 cheaper at Asda!!!! You never know your luck
  • I am pleased to say the Sabitier knives and RSC pan sets are still available!! so don't forget them on your shop bargains in the extra stores it would appear

I got a set of four mugs, 2 sets of steak knives, 6 bottles of surf washing liquid, 1 glass protector and 3 cat mugs. Not too bad for a days bargain hunting. Could do with some of those canisters though so might have to go hunting again!!!

Couldn't resist a quick trip to Tescos after work, was most disappointed to find no parazone, no pepsi and no flash :(

However did spot airwick reed diffusers marked at 2 pounds, nearly out of these from the old DTD so thought I'd grab a couple. Checking receipt after seen they'd gone thru at £6.50 each!! Sent OH to queue at customer services whilst I checked ticket, was actually for a diff flavour so wasn't hopeful. Lovely girl at desk checked ticket said it was wrong one but they'd honour and give double (without prompting!)

So with £18 refund and a few dettol vouchers for refills my £32 shop cost less than a fiver!

Worth checking the SEls whilst hunting nearby bargains :)

nice little trip to tesco tonight got loads of the custard, hartleys fruit jellies, dolmio sachets, raid, penne wholemeal pasta, dates, parazone, playdoh, some of the thomas cutters and the buy one get 2 free branston beans....no flash but did notice they have taken the bogof signs down for this, but did manage 6 of the 54 wash surf (no sel) did a quick price check and still scanning at £4.49 so thought i'll risk putting them through hoping for the bogof to kick in which it did, plus had the 2 x £1 voucher from an op's suggestion earlier on, thanks op.. who would pay £8.99 orginally for them anyway very expensive. so i'm chuffed when i worked out ive only paid £11.47 for all 6... and used a £ 4 of £30 spend. i have a very very happy purse tonight :-)

Hartleys Lemon & Lime sugar free jelly crystal sachets had a white SEL of 10p this evening.

(sadly custard.....correct barcode, and greens mix both scanned at full price)..... Maybe I just need to get to a different sized store?!

Many thanks to Tesco Huddersfield rd and their inability to remove ood SEL

    Used a £5 off £50
Got my £50 back and a very nice 5p off a litre of fuel ~ gotta love tescos

Didnt manage to get any parazone or custard powder but did scoop a couple of half price chickens (offer still on till 30th on the deli) and the last 2 bottles of surf (different tesco thou)

:jTesco Mkt Weighton, bleach £1.15 bogof, no flash left no surf left no custard, I thought Id had a wasted journey but wait not quite wasted ,Maryland cookies buy one get two free £1.15 (promotion at the back of the store) all went through at £1.15 each offer did not kick in, no quibble at CS so a nice little DTD of £4.60 to keep me going and my first ever wombled receipt for £6.50 (not much I know) but every little helps!!

£6.50 is quite a good result for a womble - well in my experience, unless I am just in an area full of savvy shoppers.
