I always think its a bloody cheek when they refuse DTD and make you feel like a crinimal. DTD surely just makes up for all the people who get overcharged by Tesco and don't notice. If they didn't want to give out DTD they should do their job better! makes me mad. Complain x:mad:
we have very deffently complained and are taking this further it was disgusting the way we were treated.

    PRICE GLITCH!
Okay peeps, here's a good one!
Saw some of the large packs (on an A4 sized card backing) of Fusion razors on the shelf in my local.
Bought some of the packs a couple of months back when they were £10 for the Fusion Proglide manual razor and 7 extra blades (8 total).
These were the Fusion Proglide POWER razor packs with 6 extra blades (7 total). SEL stated £20 but I thought I'd run them past the Self Scan.
    Scanned at £5!
Went back and got the other pack!
Good luck with finding them but maybe there are loads around still, seeing as the SEL states £20.
    Keep Smiling

    50p?? Could you explain? LOL

a few months ago these were going through the till at 50p  i managed to get 6 of them :D
  • The best 50p I ever spent was on this BBQ it's brilliant, portable yet cooks loads :)

have to agree they are brilliant, and the gas seems to last for quite a long time too, hubby says its one of the best bargains i have ever got from tesco!
  • UPDATE: Just rang Customer Services again and the nice lady confirmed that I would be entitiled to DTD as the label was different to the price I paid.
Asked whether she could sort it, but was told to go back to the store and that she will ring them and advise them to give DTD. Not looking forward to facing the unpleasant CS lady again, but will need to...
either for DTD or refund, lol.

RESULT: Phoned CS again to confirm they spoke to the store and they put me through directly. Went in to store later and was seen by a different duty manager, who apologised and said I should have got DTD yesterday!
The same trouty CS lady had to refund me the rest, ha ha.

Wow, what a relief! That's some Christmas presents sorted and one for myself, too :)

Thanks for everyone here who offered words of support, just shows you- keep trying. My first DTD, what a kick. Will be keeping an eye out for more (at a different store though probably...!).

    well done :T
  • This is not a misprice, but feel it is in the right place.
I am just so fed up of noticing price changes that are not part of any offer or anything. For instance...I bought a pack of Tesco's own brand cheap breadsticks and in the space of one week they have gone up from 49p to £1.25. I picked these up without even looking, but having checked online, it was the right price, yet the sesame seeded ones are 78p. So many products seem to have gone up in price or jumped.
Another example is their single portioned lasagne in the fresh food section. It was on offer when I first tried it at £1.00, then it went up to £1.40 for a few weeks, not too bad..then £1.80 and now it is £2.00.
Just wanted a little vent and to say watch out for the price changes not in our favour!!

They've been doing it for weeks with the value pasta and pasta sauce. Value pasta varies between 17p and 41p. It was literally 41p last sat and 17p on the monday.

There was a woman stocking up on the Sat and I told her it was more than double the price it's been at, she said 'oh i know but every time it's 17p there's none in stock'. I just find that's wrong, esp when people who are really struggling financially can rely on these items as basic staples - that price diff can really matter to them
