noticed expired SEL's on Nicky Clarke straighteners in the beauty section today (SEL expired 23/08/11) ... prices were approx 39.99 down to £19.99 so would be free with DTD if the offer hasnt been extended.. Also had nicky clarke tongs expired SEL of 02/08 so was sure the offer was extended but if not free tongs too..didnt want or need either so left it but might help someone else.. xx

also forgot to mention my minor DTD on hartleys seedless jam. Expired SEL 2 for £2 got 56p back but had an interesting chat with a truly lovely CS assistant who told me that they've put a new system in place that all duty managers must check overcharges now and she gives it around a week before theyre fed up as there was another overcharge for the individual bottles of coke whilst i was standing there (something like 2 for £1.50 but went thru at £1.80)... the DM's will be very busy bees indeed!

I know they extended the offer when I checked yesterday, all my SEL said 2nd August, but still on offer yesterday.

I bought the stripey glasses today and had a hard time getting the £4 back due to the new rule that managers have to check any pricing errors, apparently the managers were all in a meeting so i eventually got it but was told they were not supposed to do it. I thought it was quite funny, the CS lady said the glasses offer was working the other day so it must be a faulty checkout! LOL!

On another note, got 3 4 packs of Steak knives reduced from £6.XX to 68p! Also got a table runner from £12.50 to £1.25 and some soup spoons at 86p i think, so no DTD for me but did get some good RTC bargains

Checked on the pressure this morning , was on introductory offer at £99.99 from £199.99, SEL still remains (expiry 23/08/11) but website still states £99.99, should I still try this?? Ta

Hi, Loving this thread! I'm new to this DTD thing at T's (how I missed out on it I don't know!). Off there later on to see if I can spot anything worth while.

Website for this model states £198.00

I got a big fat nothing and I went at 9.30am!!!!

They are just so on the ball at the moment. Picked up 2 of the champagne but it was still going through at old price so didn't bother. Would have made a great wedding pressie for a friend and golden anniversary pressie for someone next year too. Ho hum!!

Hi all, back from T Ch8shunt with two little DTDs on my normal shop:

1x Walkers Sensations BBQ due to OOD SEL (CS removed BBQ flavour but still some other varieties had their OOD SEL in place). Only got one in case offer had been extended.

1x 3pk brown parcel tape white SEL said £1, charged £2 so free :j
I get through loads of this as I'm an Ebay seller so that was great!
