How on earth do you explain that away? On one of my lower DTDs I was asked why I didn't notice the high price. Thankfully my baby was screaming so ready made excuse for not concentrating!!!!
I'm so tempted and wouldn't mind a pic as wellShe didnt want to give me dtd... said there is no dtd when its over £20... I just kept pointing to the blue sign... saying it doesnt say so... asked to see someone higher up... she just suddenly then decided to give me dtd but wrote very clearly on my receipt that I couldnt get my money back if I took the products back to Tesco...as I have had dtd..
I've been given every excuse under the sun from OoD SELs don't apply to being told you don't get it on 2 identical items to being offered a refund and they'll sell me the item at the reduced price. Thank god for this site as I'm sure I've been diddled in the past so I'm making the most of it now.
I think I have the kitchen sorted now. RSC pots/pans, knives, Denby and striped glasses. All I need now is cutlery and some mugs.
Sorry double posted somehow.0 -

Hi
I was refused dtd as they don't give dtd when it is an out of date SEL. This is Tesco policy and has always been the policy-according to the elec dept manager.
Should I go back and ask to speak to a manager or call head office? Has anyone had a favourable reponse from HO?
thanks
RUBBISH! Most of them are out of date labels! Head office all the way!Trying hard...failing miserably

Yay dipped my savings and got the Denby set, SEL £33.50 charged £67 picked up some lovely girls sandals for £1.50 and some of the 3 for a £1 fajitas which meant I could use my £10 off £70 voucher too.
Got a refund of £67 I only paid £61.75 cash so made a profit of £5.25 and (I think) my shopping for free as I used the coupon.MSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy0 -

Oh and another thing I went in looking for but never found, I went in the other day and they had loads of Karcher steam cleaners for about £50, went in today and they had all gone, found one on the top of a shelf and scanned it and it was scanning at £129. Worth looking in case somewhere hasnt removed them.0

Hi everyone :] have been reading this forum for ages but just got my first DTD today! When I was wandering round I checked the dates on the lables and found one that was out of date a winnie the pooh toy that sticks to your car - very cute. The SEL said £6.95 scored out £4.64 but I was charged £6.95 - got DTD making it £2.33 not free but I still loved getting the money off
Although I wasn't that impressed by CS but wasn't totally suprised after reading some people's experiences the CS lady gave me DTD no problem but only after ignoring me for at least 5 minutes whilst she made 2 phone calls and spoke to a colleague I was like  anyway! looking forward to more DTDs in the future :j0
