Packets of lemon and herb marinade for chicken (sorry, house alarm is on and packets are downstairs and can't remember brand!) reduced to 44p but scanning at 74p this morning. There were only a few on the display and I got them all, but may be worth checking in your local.

Also, when at CS, noticed that on the list it said that someone had got DTD for mayonnaise which should have been on a multibuy offer. Had a quick look at the website but can't find it. May be worth checking out?

Hey peeps I am a long established member on this site but have had to change my log in Case any trolls reading as login has part of name I was so humiliated today over a £100 dtd they said I should of noticed at check out why had I bought two and as I am a member of staff must add don't work in any store that I only get jtd. I wasn't rude was polite big sign says dtd they kept saying why are you pursuing this your not going to be out of pocket I explained I have to wait for refund and should get what other customers get as I don't work inshore I don't know there proceses. I was made to feel like a fool so much so when I got home I had to cry. Pathetic really. First Time going for dtd and my last. Was made to feel like a thief.

This is horrendous but doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Tesco are a law upon themselves and the ASA don't have the bottle to tackle them about this policy that they chose to honour as and when they like.

All I can advise you to do is e-mail the ceo and explain the situation. See what response you get.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Well yes, but the poster did write that as "a member of staff - must add don't work in any store - that I only get jtd". If that's the case I don't think that writing to the CEO is going to help much.

This is where the old "I thought I was wrong and went back to check the label and I was right" comes into play :)

If you don't work in a store, how did they know you worked for Tesco?

Don't worry about it, T's have it ingrained in their staff that MSE'rs are theifs cos we exploit the systems that THEIR board members want to use because it shows that someone in that store can't do their job properly. They also don't understand that Tesco makes Billions and Billions of pounds in profits, rips consumers off left right and centre, has caused lots of small retailers to go out of business and has taken british farming to the wall(alledgedly BTW, in case the lawyers are watching!) so for someone like you or I to have a little bit back is obviously gonna send them bankrupt and we are the enemy and must be stopped!

BTW if anyone needs dessicated coconut, its £1.50 for 150grams in Tesco or 80p for 200 grams in morrisons, so go to morrisons.

I'm a tesco employee also, and in store and dtd was given to me a few weeks ago by the cs manager himself so jtd isn't company policy as far as I know, they probably knew youtwo was an employee because a staff discount card would of shown on the receipt.

Walls Solero Exotic explosion, and berry flavours on offer at end of freezer aisles, at half price. Went through at full price of £2.33

Went to CS, she went and checked, at end of aisle "offer price SEL" is on display, in main freezer section, full price SEL.

Result, DTD refunded, net cost -1p :)
