Bargain hotel in Barcelona!

Hi,
I just thought I would recommend the Barcelona Princess to anyone going for a weekend to Barcelona. It's a little bit out of the centre but it's right next to a metro stop (10 journeys for £5) and only takes 10 mins to the centre. This hotel is awesome. The best hotel I've ever stayed in. I recently stayed in Grand Castle facing room at the Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh which costs £200 a room and it wasn't as good as the Barcelona Princess. The views are magnificant (make sure you get as high a room as possible on this 27 floor hotel). There's an amazing rooftop pool that overlooks the sea. There's also a gym and spa facilities for free. The rooms are beautiful and you get a free minibar. We got our room for only £54 a night. It seems to be about £70 a night everywhere at the moment but that's still a bargain for this standard of hotel.

I'd be surprised if you couldn't find anything cheaper on https://www.venere.com
Especially if you use the discount code: BK5HX8W which I found in this forum.0 -

You can find hundreds of cheaper hotels in Barcelona. But then that's like telling someone to a Fiat for £10k when they've told you that they have a chance to buy a brand new Ferrari for £15k.
This is a 4 star hotel that obsolutely rocks! I've never been a as good a hotel (with exception of some of the ones in Vegas).
To answer a couple more questions:
We had two double beds put together in our room. But I'm sure you could arrange a kingsize bed. There are also bigger rooms that sleep more. I'm not sure if they do airport transfers. I would email them and ask because that is a very good question. It cost us over 25 euros to get from the airport. You can easily get the hotel by metro though. The only drawback is that the metro line to the airport only runs every 20-30 mins so you have to find out in advance.
The metro stop the the hotel is at is called El Forum. It's in the bottom right of the map. I think it was on the red line.
And remember. Ask for the highest room available. The views are stunning.0 -
May I also point out that the beds are unbelievably comfy!0
