which kind of soil for a raised bed kit?

We live in a rented property and so we are unable to plant in the ground so I am planning on buying 2 raised bed kits like these:

My question is which type of soil should I add to the bed in order to grow potatoes, courgettes, tomatoes , lettuce and strawberries? I do not have any soil and will have to buy it from the garden center.

Is making them an option for you? I appreciate that it's not for some people but you'd save a fair amount of cash by doing so.

There have been a few posts about soil in raised beds. Have you tried the search facility?
