Oh shurrup you lot you're making me blush. It was just something that was kicking around in my garage going to waste and I hate that. So when I saw the lovely pap was in need it went to a good home. I'd never use it again, I've realised I'm hopeless at all things creative.

Anyway, Jassie is at home, she spent the afternoon in the hospital, had some more blood tests and a bag of fluid. She's looking really sick though this evening. It seems forever ago since she was 100%. I hope it passes soon, poor thing.

Hubby made it 100 times worse when he said, 'you do realise we could have pig flu don't you' He reminded me that last week in Canada, MILs cousins came to stay. They sold their house a couple of years ago and bought a massive motor home, they spend their lives travelling now. Anyway, they got back to canada and stuck the thing in the garage for service etc and are staying at MILs for 3 weeks till they move on to their next place.

Where had they just come back from? Mexico :) 5 months they were there:eek: I was feeling totally fine till he said that, now I have every symptom :rotfl:

Seriously Toto, have there been any confirmed cases in the area where your MIL lives?
Hope she feels better soon and that it's just the jet lag catching up with her. :kisses3:

I don't think so wit, they are in montreal and I've not heard anything. I'm sure everyone is fine, MIL would have called and said if someone was ill.

I'm pretty sure Jas is just having another glandular fever episode. She was ok this morning before school but did PE for the first time this morning since she was sick. I think it was a bit too much for her and she's suffering now. She has been having the dizzy spells for a couple of months now, but she is just 13 and it's pretty common in young girls. I'm sure with a few days rest she'll be on the mend again.

It's also quite draining when kids return to school after a break and even more so when recovering from glandular fever.

My parents are flying into Calgary in a few weeks and after a few days going into America....mum is beginning to panic in case they close the border. I'd love to be going, but my DD is doing her GCSEs this time  and I don't want to leave her to her own ideas about revision
