Help with bidder who changed mind

Over two weeks ago I had soemthing for sale, a girl bid, won and then I never received payment, I sent the invoice twice then sent a few emails and received nothing back, after about 10 days I sent an unpaid item query, the buyer then got back to me saying the following:
'Hiya,
Im sorry i thought i had already emailed you, i ordered this perfume for my sister but she
already has it,
Very sorry for not letting you know sooner,'
What do i do now? Do i just write it off? I will still get seller fees no?

I would continue with the unpaid item strike, then you will get your fees back & she will get a strike.
She shouldn't be able to get away with this, it may be something she does frequently & at least if she gets a strike each time she does it then she wont be able to bid on our items.0 -
you can get your fees back without giving an unpaid item strike by offering the buyer the opertunity to complete a mutual cancellation.
if they agree you just select the option, we have both agreed not to complete the transaction. an email is then sent by ebay to the buyer with a link to click on, if they do that then you get your fees returned and they don't get an unpaid item strike.0 -
There's no way I'd let her off with a mutual. My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I wouldn't let her off with a mutual either, had this with a buyer a couple of months ago, with £80 worth of model trains, sent him and invoice and heard nothing, sent another, and still nothing, so at the end of the 7 days started an unpaid dispute and lo and behold he got in touch, if only to tell us that he had sent an email to say he didn't want it any more, an email which we hadn't got and nothing in Ebay to say he had been in touch, so we told him as much and then he got really abusive, so we went for the strike.
If they didn't want the item, then they shouldn't bid on it.0 -
Agreed, strike everytime, you bid to buy, pretty much end of unless exceptional circumstances.2 angels in heaven :A0

I would give her a strike, when she clicked to buy/bid she agreed to a the e-bay rules/contract to pay for the item. Don't let her get away with it.0
