As a side note most old cars are worse far less than what their owners think. Ask any trader/salesman on here about what ludicrous sums people expect.
I have been offered £300. I will challenge the offer, it won't hurt to try even if they won't offer any more.
I agree that a lot of old cars are over-valued. With a lot of cars I wouldn't have a clue as to their value but I have owned Sierras since I was 15 and I am very familiar with them and their relative values.I could have sold mine for £450 at least, I am confident of that. I'm not going to pretend it was worth £850 which I've seen some people try and flog equivalents for. :eek:
NB I have only owned them since I was 15, I must say I only started driving them when I was 18.0 -
