Watch out for O2 Phishing Email!

I have searched but couldn't find a specific warning about an O2 phishing email, so apologies if this is old news.

I received an email today that purported to be from O2 that said I owed £82 and that it would be taken from my account. It also invited me to click a link to the site to enter my username and password, but the link was to an obscure site that I didn't recognise (I didn't click the link, my mailwasher told me it wasn't official)

I don't have an O2 account so was suspicious immediately, but someone else might fall into the trap.

Hope this helps somebody avoid getting scammed. I have reported it to O2.
