When I were a lad it was chalk (although probably not pure calcium carbonate).0

I remember buying it in a smallish bag from the pharmacy in Boots many moons ago. I had to ask for it. They use it in some medicines I think.

Anyone know where I can get citric acid from? My mum used to add it to icing sugar to make home made sherbert, but I'd like to use it as a descaler.0 -
