Does anyone know if this is right ? ?
 Alex
Assuming that's 'the tour organiser' you meant to type then yes, that's normally the case.0

I apologise if your not a spammer Alex however it did look suspicious, you resurrected two old posts, your a new poster and extolled the virtues of a company. These are normaly the signs of a spammer.
I also wanted to point out that the advice you gave that a lot of Insurers do not cover swine flu for medical costs (Assuming there is no warning from the FOC against travel) is not accurate. You have to remember that other people will read your post and assume that swine flu is not covered for medical costs which could cause them problems.
Aside from accusing you of being a spammer which I accept is incorrect I stand by the rest of my post.0

If you have travel insurance with a medical element, then don't worry you will be covered. Medical needs are medical needs; insurers cannot discriminate depending if you have swine flu, normal flu, summer flu, winter flu or any other kind of flu. The point is, if you need medical attention, you are covered; providing you are not contradicting any policy clauses (Such as flying to a country when the FCO have stated you shouldn't).
The only other thing would be not informing the insurer of a pre-existing medical condition, now if that was swine flu, you'd have to be one very unlucky person, given its rarity! :-)
By the way, the FCO lifted its advice against travel to Mexico a few days ago.
Seems like the worst is over... fingers crossed. Also read an interesting article how us consumers handled swine flu. Travel insurance shot up! Better safe than sorry I guess.
 Happy travelling!0

 Thank you dacouch
just to explain my posting - My original insurer Sagicor advised that we wouldn’t be covered as it was a know fact befor we travel. I was then reading a forum for Disney (intended destination) where i read a posting stating you can buy cover with insurewithease. i admit i did not read the historical postings on this sight and just dived in on what i thought would be helpful.
I will think first next time
