Well done EH on the Month challenge thingie and British Gas. Lots of munchies from the market too. I really (REALLY) need to do a stock-take of food thats in the cupboards and freezer. I fancied Aunt Bessies dessert last night, loved one said nope there isnt one in there. I looked and found one and showed it to him (gloating yes) but also aware of how much stuff is in there.
So EH maybe that doesnt stand for EssexHeb but EverythinginHand!Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

LOL - I'm still here!!! :hello: It seems that all my MSE time at the moment is being taken up with that no more toiletries thread!
Not too much going on really. The balance has been paid on the cottage for our holiday, so just the ferries to pay for and there is almost enough surplus in the joint account to do that. I might book those over the weekend actually.
Checked my Quidco just now and found that MoreTh>n have paid me TWO lots of cashback. I'd give up hope as this went back to August I did a policy onloine and then realised when I got the documents through that there was an error on it, so had to cancel and redo it - you might remember that I had terrible trouble getting the refund issued. Because of that I was expecting that neither cashback would go through, but BOTH are now marked as received - one for £70 and one for £80!IIRC that will be more to come in cashback than I paid for the policy in the first place! :T Won't count too many chickens yet though in case they realise and grab some of it back!
Assuming it hits the bank account OK at the end of the month I have to decide whether to stick it in the challenge account, pay a chunk off the mortgage, or some sort of combination of the two things.
Back to the market tomorrow to top up on crisps etc. We use loads as we both have a packet with our lunch each day (and - guilty secret - sometimes a bag in the evening too!) and the market is by far the cheapest place to buy them. Off shopping in a minute too to Mr T's - I'm aiming to spend £20 as I have a £3 off voucher to use. I'll pick up the basics and then work out what storecupboard stuff to add to make it up.

I must confess to having a crisp habbit! I was buying them at work and thought mmm, this is expensive. So I now have a supply in a desk at work. Every little helps and all that.
I just now need to find decent latte and hot chocolate (instant) for work and I'll save a few more bob.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
