I have a Sainsburys Ccard with the 12 months introductory 0% on allpurchases ,this will end May .
I would like to balance transfer the balance which will be left on this another card with 0% on balance transfers for 9 or 12 months.
Ok there a few cards around -however how do I transfer the balance to the new card?
Any help appreciated-thanks

It is easy to do just phone up your new credit card and they will transfer the balance from Sainsbury's to your new card.
Have a read through Martins articles and all should become clear.

ok thanks however little confused,my current sainsburys cars is 0% purchases for 12 months so ends May with balance of £3.000
When do I actually do the transfer as I read in some ccard literatue that you must not be in the introductory period or can Ia do the balance transfer in the next few weeks?

There are a lot of BT cards to choose from.Read up as much as you can on the credit card shuffle and the other articles Martin has written.Use the A-Z providers list and have a look at the cards that interest you.
Try to limit you applications to a card that you are likely to get.ie one from your own bank.
The card you apply for should have 0% on BT for 6mths,or 9mths or longer.
Read the summary box on the terms and condtions of your "new " card and check if there is a fee for carrying out the Balance Transfer. If there is consider another card.
Once your new card arrives phone them up and request the BT.
Check that your new card is not owned by the same provider as Sainbury's before you apply for it otherwise you will not be able to complete a BT between the same providers.
