Is my Mum retired or a housewife??

Hi - I'm trying to get a quote for car insurance, for my Dad, using gocompare.com for starters. I have put him down as Retired as he is over 70, but I'm not sure whether to put Mum down as a Housewife or Retired; she is over 65. She also says a woman never retires .

try going through with both see if the result differs I cant see it making much difference tbh

From the rating specifications I am familiar with, they should both produce a similar or exaclty the same level of rating, and this would usualy be positive.

Also, from a disclosure point of view, I don't think any insurer would mind but technicaly if she is drawing her pension and not in employement of any kind then I THINK she is a retired (for employment status) housewife (for occupation)!
