have looked at buying a diy filling kit but havent had time

and the sickness of it is by the time the catridges get half, the printer wont stop teasing you saying '' buy catridges you muppet as they are finishing ''

These are factors when buying printers to keep in mind. Sometimes the printer looks great value being cheap, however its ink cartridges can be expensive. I learnt this the hard way too, it hurts even more when your wife is a teacher and goes through it like theres no tomorrow! :(

What model is your Lexmark printer?

I've always used Inkcycle (link) for my ink cartridges, with little to no hassle.

Before the keyboard warriors come along, I am not advertising for Inkcycle nor do I work for Inkcycle. I am merely a happy customer of theirs - if referring others to them is a crime, so sobeit.

i also use ink.co.uk for my printer. Although not a lexmark
  • Yeah, go for an Epson or a Canon. The ink for most models is pretty cheap.

One thing people should ALWAYS do is check the price of the consumables BEFORE they buy the product... not after!

https://www.ukdvdr.co.uk is where I tend to buy ours.

Again i'd bin the printer (or cheap/freecycle it) and get an Epson for the stupidly cheap carts
